Mohamad Alsaadi is an assist. Prof. and senior research engineer at Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). His research focuses on the development of sustainable and functionally graded materials for various applications such as automotive, aviation, renewable energy, sport and leisure and medical & Prosthetics. He has more than 20 years of experience working in academia. During Mohamads’ time in he has several articles published in peer reviewed, indexed journals like Composites Part B: Engineering-Elsevier, Polymer composites-Wiley. He has reviewed many journals, such as Mechanics of Materials-Elsevier. He participated, presented and published many articles at different international conferences.  He is an expert in the mechanics of thermosetting polymer composites (fibre and particle reinforced).
