Bor Shin Chee holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biotechnology and a PhD in Polymer Engineering at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Athlone Campus. Her PhD project was about the development of novel freeze-thawing polyvinyl alcohol hydrogels for biomedical applications. Bor Shin is now a postdoctoral researcher in TUS working on projects about depolymerization and repolymerization of plastic waste. Her research interests include hydrogels, controlled drug delivery, electrospinning, and plastic recycling.
