Qualifications:  

  • PhD Candidate in Polymer Engineering, Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Ireland (2021–2025) 
  • M.Sc. in Polymer Engineering (2010) 
  • B.Sc. in Polymer Engineering – Polymer Industries (2008) 

 

Areas of Interest: 

  • Development and formulation of oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion resins for coatings and adhesives 
  • Structural adhesives and coatings based on polyurethane, acrylics, silicones, and cyanoacrylates 
  • Water-based adhesive and sealant systems, including emulsions, dispersions, and cementitious adhesives 
  • Industrial-scale formulation and optimization of adhesives and coatings for construction and wood industries 
  • Functionalization of plant oils and other bio-derived compounds for use in resins, coatings, and foams 
  • Design and development of polyurethane foams, including bio-based alternatives 
  • Kinetic and thermodynamic analysis of polymerization and curing reactions 
  • Computational approaches to support formulation design and reaction mechanism studies 
  • Green chemistry and materials innovation for scalable industrial applications
