Area’s of Interest:  APT 

Shane Connolly is a polymer research officer at the APT centre. He has a BEng in Mechatronics and a Master of Science in Advanced Polymer Materials. Throughout the years, he has gained industrial experience in injection moulding and extrusion processes, tooling design, automated assembly systems and maintenance / facilities management. Shane joined APT in March 2021, and his main duties include training and supervision, equipment preparation and design along with polymer processing project activities.
